One asset in our community is Randolph Hospital. Besides being one of the major employers in the area, it provides an invaluable service to the people in our area.  Imagine our city without a hospital the caliber of Randolph Hospital.  I can't imagine that any new business would relocate to a city without a state-of the-art hospital to provide health care. This was the first year we participated in Dine Around and it was a great experience and the money raised will be put to good use.  I will be glad to volunteer my services to help the hospital.

I have been a member of the Asheboro/Randolph Chamber of Commerce,but it wasn't until recently that I found the advantages of membership in the chamber.  After going in to get one brochure for a client who is moving to the area, I found a plethora of material on just about everything in Asheboro NC and Randolph County. The Business After Hours is a great way to network and grow a new business.

We have visited the North Carolina Zoological Park many times over the years. But recently since our children have been gone we haven't visited as much.  This weekend, however, some friends from out-of-state were visiting with their children and we decided a trip to the zoo was in order.  The children were thrilled and the adults were impressed with the wide variety of animals in their own natural habitat.  Another area that impressed our friends was the cleanliness of the zoo property.  The staff was helpful and when we needed asistance with an elderly relative, help was immediate.  I always recommend the zoo to out-of-town visitors and new residents. As Randolph county citizens we should support such a great asset in our community.

My wife and I had a wonderful meal at Timothy's this weekend.  There really is nothing to compare with the quality of food or service anywhere else in Randolph county or in Guilford county for that matter.  I had a steak and it was prepared to perfection.  The new location has improved the seating and the ambience surpasses the expectations. I heartily recommend Timothy's Restaurant in Asheboro, NC for any occasion.
